Credal Networks
— A tool to manage and reason with uncertain information where you don't have enough data to pinpoint exact probabilities. It is a mathematical model used to represent uncertainty in a more flexible way than traditional probabilistic models. It is an extension of Bayesian networks but allows for sets of probability distributions rather than single distributions. This means that instead of having a precise probability for each event, a credal network works with intervals or sets of probabilities, making it useful in situations where precise probabilities are difficult to determine.
